This is a 2 hour course
 
Goal: To train the students in the theory and practice of the effective use of pepper spray
 
Objectives: 
The student will be abe to discuss the use of chemical weapons in history
The student will be ale to list some chemical weapons used in law enforcement as well as their effects, advantages and disadvantages
The student will be able to discuss in detail the properties of pepper spray
The student will be able to list the steps in deploying pepper spray
The student will be ablel to list the potential problems in deployment of pepper spray and how to avoid or minimize them
The student will be abe to list the steps in decontamination following pepper spray
The student will be able to pass a written exam
